This past week there have been some very dramatic occurrences at TAFE...CIT... Respectively, that I am convinced a good book or TV series can be centred around the institution. I did manage to catch the directing class this past week and our overview of networking (dull but necessary to the business, the who you know not what you know thing) was not nearly as dramatic an occurrence as what happened while filming "Gob Smacked", the office of road safety project, on Thursday.
I suppose all the trails and tribulations we suffered on that day just goes to show us filmies that our job is not an easy one. But as I sat in the crowd of extras (as 2nd AD I jumped in to be an extra at the last minute) I thought to myself "If I was getting paid for this...I'd have to give the money back"
